The Sunrisers bowlers bowled brilliantly from the start. In particular, Tamil Nadu players Ana Washington Sunder and Nadarajan bowled well and Chennai’s opening batsmen Robin Uthappa and Ruturaj Gaikwad took wickets. Ruturaj Gaikwad bold in Natarajan’s accurate yorker. Moin Ali scored 48 runs and Rayudu 27 runs.
The batting of Sunrisers Hyderabad was extra strong as they played against a simple target. Chennai stumbled, unable to take a single wicket for almost 12 overs. This led to the victory of the Hyderabad team. Chennai could not take wickets despite using almost 6 bowlers. Hyderabad lost their first wicket by 89 runs. Cap Kane Williamson was out for 32, while Abhishek Sharma, on the other hand, piled up 75 runs. Rahul Tripathi hit 39 off 15 balls. Sunrisers Hyderabad lost only 2 wickets in 17.4 overs and scored 155 runs. Hyderabad won the match by 8 wickets.
