According to the report, his vehicle rolled off the road near the Alice River Bridge. Police are investigating an incident that took place Saturday evening in the Hervey Range, around 50 kilometers from the city. Queensland emergency services arrived on the scene soon after and tried to revive the former cricketer. However, due to injury, he did not survive the tragic accident.
Andrew Simmons died on spot when his vehicle overturned near the Alice River Bridge. He was riding alone during the incident. His car left the asphalt sloping, causing a fatal accident and taking the life of a former cricketer. Queensland Police said thar an emergency team arrived at the scene and tried to resuscitate the retired athlete, but they were unable to save him due to serious injuries.
