But the ambitious production failed miserably at the box office, leaving the creators devastated.
Aamir Khan reveals why he decided to take a break from acting
The Mr. Perfectionist, who recently appeared at the book launch event for acclaimed author Shobha De in Delhi, went into great depth regarding his choice to take a vacation from performing. Aamir Khan added that his friends and family made fun of the decision, which was the real motivation for his choice. “I’m made fun of by them. You were always taking a break, they usually said. Jo tu ab break par hai, tu filmein hi kaha karta hai. The difference is that now, I’m thinking about the individuals. My focus before was on the movies, “said the well-known celebrity.
As an actor, I become so engrossed in a project that nothing else occurs in my life. I thus made the decision to take a sabbatical. In the wake of Laal Singh Chaddha, I was meant to star in a movie called Champions. It has a superb writing and a lovely narrative. Although it’s a beautiful and inspiring movie, I needed a break. Aamir Khan continued, “I want to be with my mum and my kids. “I have worked for 35 years and have been utterly devoted to my career… And I believe it’s unfair to my loved ones. In many respects, it’s also unfair to me. This is my opportunity to experience.
