Currently, Mohanlal is employed with Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Malaikottai Vaaliban.
Fans of Mohanlal have been speculating if director Tinu Pappachan, who is currently working as the principal associate in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Malaikottai Vaaliban, was dispatched to recruit the actor for the high-budget comedy, after seeing his most recent photo with Telugu star Vijay Deverakonda.
We’re still unsure if Vijay Deverakonda would participate in Malaikottai Vaaliban, but we’ve learned that Tinu was in Hyderabad to talk about another project. The producers of Pushpa, starring Fahadh Faasil and Allu Arjun, Mythri Movie Makers, apparently accepted the director of Swathandaryam Ardharathryil and Ajagajantharam’s presentation for a film and have agreed to finance it as well.
Mohanlal will star in the movie, which is expected to have a large budget and would also be the Pushpa producers’ second time working with the famous actor. Back in 2016, Mohanlal collaborated with the producers on their second Telugu film, Janatha Garage, which also starred NTR Jr. and Unni Mukundan.
In the meantime, Mythri Movie Makers has already signed on to produce the Malayalam flicks Adrishya Jalakangal and Nadigar Thilakam. Tovino Thomas, who starred in Minnal Murali, plays the major role in both movies. Adrishya Jalakangal, directed by Dr. Biju and co-produced by Tovino, is a “anti-war” movie with “surrealistic elements,” according to the director.
Meanwhile, Soubin Shahir’s Nadigar Thilakam is a wholly commercial entertainment. After Tovino completes his current commitments, the Lal Jr.-directed movie is anticipated to begin production within the next two months.
