The Kashmir files, released on March 11, show the departure of Kashmiri Pandits from the Kashmir Valley in the 1990s. The film stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Mithun Chakraborty, and Darshan Kumar playing key roles. After ruling the box office, the filmmaker has now announced that he will soon be working on his next film titled “The Delhi Files”.
Vivek Agnihotri’s film “The Kashmir Files” caused a great deal of political controversy. But charged large at the box office. The film, based on the departure of Kashmiri pundits from the Kashmir Valley in the 1990s, was a huge success. The emotional plot and powerful verses of the film amazed the audience and critics alike. Despite being critically acclaimed, the film grossed over Rs 330 crore at the box office.
Before “The Kashmir Files”, the filmmaker had directed “The Tashkent Files” based on the mysterious death of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri in 1966.
Vivek, who ruled the box office, has now announced his next film. Filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri has said that he will be working on his next film titled “The Delhi Files”.

Vivek Agnihotri tweeted,
“I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For the last four years, we worked very hard with utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to work on a new film”
