Ajith – Vijay Movies arriving simultaneously on TV on the same day… Who will win the TRP?

A total of 12 times between 1996 and 2014, films starring Ajith and Vijay clashed head-on that is have been released on the same date. The list goes on and on – from ‘Coimbatore Mappillai‘ to ‘Vanmathi‘ and ‘Jilla‘ to ‘Veeram‘. All in all, it was during Pongal 2014 that the films of these two box office hit actors of Tamil cinema were released on the same day.

Since then, the two actors have been releasing their respective films separately. Meanwhile, another Vijay-Ajith Clash is planned ahead of May Day this year. But somewhat differently this conflict is going to happen through the small screen not the silver screen. Vijay starrer ‘Master’ is set to air on Sun TV ahead of May Day (Labor Day) which will be celebrated on May 1.

There is no doubt that Sun TV is launching the Master film with the intention of directly clashing with Ajith’s Valimai which is being aired on Zee Tamil Channel. It can be said that the Master movie gives a better TRP rating than the relatively Valimai movie. Because not only Vijay but also Vijay Sethupathi is starring in Master movie. However from the perspective of being the latest movie to be released the Valimai movie can also give a good TRP rating. Either way, the Happiness Rating of Ajith and Vijay fans on May Day will be a little drowsy, no doubt about it.
