Actor Prakashraj donated an ambulance to a hospital serving the poor in memory of late Kannada actor Puneeth Rajkumar. Puneeth Rajkumar is an important actor in Kannada film industry. He is the youngest son of renowned actor Rajkumar, who died of a heart attack in October last year. His death shook the Indian film industry.
Puneeth Rajkumar, who is not only an actor but also a singer and producer, was fondly called as “Appu”. In his memory, actor Prakash Raj has donated a free ambulance to the Mysore Mission Hospital. The ambulance has been named “Appu Express” with Puneeth Rajkumar’s epithet “Appu” attached to it. Actor Prakash Raj said, “It is my dream that such an ambulance service should be operational in all the districts of the state of Karnataka.”
