Action entertainer film Vikram, played by Kamal Haasan continues to break records at the global box office amidst the immense love of the audience. The film has collected over Rs. 132 crore in 10 days in Tamil Nadu. Bahubali 2 – The Conclusion is currently the highest grossing record in the state. The film also reached a rare milestone at the world box office. It has become the fourth Tamil film to gross Rs. 300 crore worldwide & Kamal Haasan became the second actor from Tamil cinema to score a triple century at the box office globally.

Rajinikanth is the first south indian hero to reach the milestone. His triple century films are Endhiran, Kabali and 2.0. Kamal also became the 7th South Indian star to reach Rs. 300 crore club.
