Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 was won by the actor and RJ over other competitors, hosted by Kichcha Sudeep. Roopesh defeated Rakesh Adiga in the thrilling finale after spending over 100 days in the Bigg Boss house.
Kichcha Sudeep, a prominent Kannada performer, announced the winner as Roopesh Shetty of Mangaluru during the Grand Finale. Along with the trophy, he also received a financial reward of Rs 50 lakh. Between him and the first runner-up, Rakesh Adiga, it was a tight call. Additionally, Roopesh won Bigg Boss Kannada OTT.
100 DAYS TO GLORY
Inside the Bigg Boss house, Roopesh was a fiery character. He attracted notice not just for his ability to make friends, but also for the amount of enthusiasm he displayed while doing all the chores. He had a competitive nature that came out during the season, as seen by the numerous fights he had with other participants. He demonstrated that he could win with words as well, though, and he reasoned clearly.
The friendship with Saniya Iyer was one that frequently made news. She was a fellow contender on the show, and because of how much time they spent together, it caused quite a commotion. They eventually referred to one another as “special buddies,” and they helped one another during their stay at the residence.
Kichcha Sudeep, the host, commended Roopesh for his demeanour and how he conducted himself during the performance.
BIGG BOSS KANNADA OTT
It’s interesting to note that Roopesh won the first season of Bigg Boss Kannada OTT as well. He took home Rs 5 lakh from that show. Along with Rakesh Adiga, Saniya Iyer, and Aryavardhan, he emerged as one of the top performers of the OTT season. In Bigg Boss OTT, Roopesh gained the nickname Rockstar.
Actor Roopesh Shetty appears in films in Konkani, Tulu, and Kannada. In the 2016 Kannada film Danger Zone, he played his debut leading role. Govinda Govinda, a comedy-thriller that served as his final Kannada film, was released in 2021. He appeared in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 9 in 2022, which he ultimately won.
