Cobra is an action thriller movie written and directed by Imaikka Nodigal fame R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. This is actor Chiyaan Vikram’s 58th film as the lead actor. The film stars Vikram, Srinidhi Shetty, Irfan Pathan, and Anand Raj. The movie was produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the production banner ”7 Screen Studio”. A. R. Rahman scores the music for the movie. Harish Kannan is the cinematographer. Editing was done by Bhuvan Srinivasan. The title was announced on 25 December 2019. The movie director Ajay Gnanamuthu is well known for his previous hits Demonte Colony and Imaikkaa Nodigal.

The first single titled “Thumbi Thullal” was released on 22 June 2020. It was written by Vivek and sung by Nakul Abhyankar, and Shreya Ghoshal. The second single song titled “Adheeraa” was released on 22 April 2022. It was written by Pa. Vijay and sung by Vagu Mazan. The second single became a huge hit among the audience.
