A Social activist from Chennai has sent a lawyer’s notice to Rajkamal asking him to remove the lines criticizing the central government in the song ‘Pathala Pathala’ from actor Kamal Haasan’s movie ‘Vikram’.
The lyrics of the song ‘Pathala Pathala’ written and sung by Kamal in the movie ‘Vikram’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and starring actor Kamal Haasan will be release in June 2022.
A social activist Selvam from Chennai Korukkupet has been sent a lawyer notice to the Vikram team. In the song, they called the federal government a thief, criticized the corona vaccination program and demanded the removal of taxes that were provoking racial tensions. It also alleges that the trailer was made with anti-federal sentiments.
In a notice sent by Selvam’s lawyer R. Saritha, asked the company to suspend the trailer release ceremony within two days of receiving the notice. Failure to do so may result in legal action.
