Don is a film starring Sivakarthikeyan, S.J. Surya, Soori, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Sivaangi and Bala Saravanan among others. The film is directed by debutant director Cibi Chakaravarthi. He also worked as an assistant to director Atlee. Music for the film was composed by Anirudh. The film is co-produced by Sivakarthikeyan’s SK Productions and Lyca Productions. The film has been released in Tamil Nadu by Udhayanithi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies.
Sivakarthikeyan plays a college student and S.J. Surya plays a college Professor. Don has evolved into a film with an emphasis on comedy and romance. Don’s film emotionally tells the story of the conflict between students, teachers and parents. Sivakarthikeyan, Samuthirakani and S.J. Surya, who starred in the film, have been receiving rave reviews.
Following the release of DON, after watching the movie, Director Atlee, a good friend of Sivakarthikeyan, took to Twitter to publicly thank the actor-producer of the film. Atlee said “thanks for giving an opportunity to debutant director”.
