A CBI diary released in 1988 starring Mammootty, Written by S.N.Swamy and directed by K.Madhu, the film was well received. Since then, the winning alliance has merged four times, with Jagratha, Sethurama Iyer CBI and Nerariyan CBI. The plot of the film is to investigate the crimes. Mammootty(Sethurama Iyer) reprising his role as CBI officer. Shyam composed the music for all four films.
The alliance has reunited for the fifth time. Written by S.N.Swamy and directed by K.Madhu. Jakes Bejoy is currently composing for the fifth part as Shyam has been composing for the last four films.
The most popular CBI theme music in other films is also used in this film. The film stars Renji Panicker, Anoop Menon, Mukesh, Saikumar, Jagathy Sreekumar, Sudev Nair, Soubin Shahir, Ansiba Hassan, Malavika Menon, Malavika Nair and Swasika in the lead roles. The film is being produced by Swargachitra Appachan Productions. Sreekar Prasad handles the editing work. The film will release on 28April2022.
