For saying that “Vijay is a greater star than Ajith in TN,” Dil Raju receives trolled.

Actor Vijay is getting ready for the release of Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming film, “Varisu.” The film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 12 and will compete at the box office with Ajith’s “Thunivu.” Both movies share a distributor, and producer Udhayanidhi Stalin dispelled rumours that Tamil Nadu will accord both movies equal weight and screen time.

On social media, however, a recent remark made by “Varisu” producer Dil Raju has triggered a heated argument between Ajith and Vijay supporters. In a recent media interview, Dil Raju reportedly remarked that Vijay is more influential than Ajith in Tamil Nadu and that it would be OK to ask Udhayanidhi Stalin to provide “Varisu” more screens. The producer’s comments that Vijay is a better star than Ajith in Tamil Nadu received a lot of controversy, and the moviegoers and fans did not take kindly to him. Ajith’s followers are mocking the producer on social media.

The theatres are currently securing the amount of screens for “Thunivu” and “Varisu” with just one month till their premieres. According to reports, both movies have seen an equal number of screenings.
