WATCH: KL Rahul prepares for ODI series against Sri Lanka
KL Rahul, an Indian batsman, practised in the nets on Saturday in preparation for the forthcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka, which will begin on January 10.

Rahul worked out in the nets in preparation for India’s upcoming home ODI series against Sri Lanka. The hitter uploaded Instagram photos of his nets practise. “ Right here #KLog, Rahul said in the caption of his post.
KL participated in four Test matches last year and amassed 137 runs, averaging 17.12 runs per match, including one fifty. His test score of 50 is the best possible result.
In 10 ODIs last year, he scored 251 runs at an average of 27.88, with two half-centuries and the maximum score of 73.
In 16 T20Is in 2022, he scored 434 runs at an average of 28.93, with six half-centuries and a top score of 62.
In 30 games last year, KL scored 822 runs at an average of 25.68, including nine half-centuries.
Given that Shubman Gill, Ishan Kishan, and skipper Rohit Sharma are all on the team as potential opening possibilities, it shouldn’t be a surprise if Rahul, who can also keep wickets, bats at number five in the middle order.
The three-match T20I series between India and Sri Lanka currently stands at 1-1, with the final match scheduled for Saturday in Rajkot, Gujarat.
