One of the highest-grossing Tamil films of all time is Ponniyin Selvan I, the magnum opus directed by renowned director Mani Ratnam. The epic novel of the same name by renowned author Kalki Krishnamurthy, published in 1954, serves as the basis for the historical play.
According to the most recent information, the second and last part of the franchise, Ponniyin Selvan 2, and a new poster for the movie, as well as its release date, is anticipated to come today at 10 am and 4 pm, respectively.
Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, and Trisha Krishnan played the key characters in the Mani Ratnam-directed film. Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, R Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, R Parthiban, Rahman, Jayachithra, Kishore, Ashwin Kakumanu, and others are among the several celebrities who appear in the film.
The project’s songs and original music were written by AR Rahman. The photographer’s director is Ravi Varman. Madras Talkies, Mani Ratnam’s home banner, and Lyca Productions are responsible for Ponniyin Selvan’s production.
