TSK, a well-known television personality and mimicry performer, said in a post on his official Instagram account on Monday that he has subbed for Vijay Sethupathi in the upcoming web series “Farzi,” which is being produced by Raj & DK of “Family Man” fame. Vijay Sethupathi did his own dubbing for the series in Hindi, but owing to his hectic schedule, he was unable to do it for the Telugu and Tamil versions.
One of the busiest performers in the Kollywood business, Vijay Sethupathi is adored by Tamil film audiences for his effortless stage presence. Regardless of his market or fan base, the actor has focused on films with strong content from his start, playing a variety of characters. In TK’s Super Deluxe, he portrayed a transgender person; in Seethakadhi, a 70-year-old theatrical artist; in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam, a police officer; and in Vikram Vedha, a mobster. He has thus far played the villain for Thalapathy Vijay, Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan, and Superstar Rajinikanth.
Vijay Sethupathi is currently making his Bollywood debut through OTT and mainstream after several successes in Tamil. In Atlee-Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan,” he portrays the bad guy, and in “Farzi,” in which he co-stars with Shahid Kapoor, he makes his OTT Hindi debut. Due to his hectic schedule, the actor was only able to dub the eight episodes of the crime series in Hindi. The producers made the decision to hire a mimic to finish his Tamil and Telugu versions.
Vijay Sethupathi’s voice will be provided by TSK, a well-known mimicry artist well recognised for his work on “Kalakapovathu Yaru” and other television programmes. TSK joyfully posted about the teaser and thanked Vijay Sethupathi and “Farzicreators “‘s for providing him the chance. It is noteworthy that TSK impersonated Vijay Sethupathi while doing the interview and was praised for it.
