India set themselves a goal of 145 to win the second and final Test after dismissing Bangladesh for 231 in their second innings on day 3. Bangladesh lost their final three wickets in the post-lunch session, including Litton Das (73), Taijul Islam (1), and Khaled Ahmed (4). On the third day, Das had sparked Bangladesh’s comeback with seven fours in his 98-ball innings. Zakir Hasan (51) was taken out by India’s Umesh Yadav (1/32) just after the dangerous southpaw reached fifty, and Mehidy Hasan Miraz (0) and Nurul Hasan were both taken out by Axar Patel (3/58).
