Devon Conway scored 138 off 100 balls as New Zealand responded by being all out for 295 in 41.2 overs. The visitors asked India to play at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, and while skipper Rohit scored 101 runs off 85 balls, the youthful Gill raced to 112 runs off 78 balls. After the opening pair scored 212 runs in 26.1 overs, Virat Kohli added 36 from 27 balls. Later, Hardik Pandya led India with a 38-ball 54.
