Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have seen a change in captaincy once more this season as Ravindra Jadeja has decided to hand over the captaincy to MS Dhoni for the remainder of the IPL 2022 season.
Eight games were all it took for MS Dhoni’s decision to hand over the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captaincy to Ravindra Jadeja at the start of IPL 2022 to unravel. On Saturday evening, CSK announced that the all-rounder will hand the leadership back to Dhoni for the remainder of the season.
Things didn’t work out well for Jadeja as the CSK captain as they are currently placed at the ninth spot on the points table with just two wins out of 8 matches.
MS Dhoni has accepted to lead CSK in the larger interest and to allow Jadeja to focus on his game.
