KL Rahul’s unbeaten 103-run knock and spirited bowling performance made Lucknow Super Giants(199/4) defeated Mumbai Indians by 18 runs in the 26th game of ongoing IPL 2022 season at Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai.
Mumbai Indians(181/9) stumbled to a sixth loss in a row. Earlier, KL Rahul was at his best as he scored a century against Mumbai Indians and he helped Lucknow Super Giants to score 199/4 in 20 overs.
Avesh Khan took three crucial wickets for LSG.
LSG are now second in the table with eight points. Mumbai Indians stay at the bottom with six losses from six matches. The debutants are on a roll while the veterans have a lot of work to do. KL Rahul deserves all the credit for his unbeaten ton and that laid the foundation for LSG which in the end proved to be a little too much for Mumbai.
