IPL Auction for Ajinkya Rahane: Indian middle-order hitter for CSK At the IPL 2023 auction on Friday, Ajinkya Rahane was purchased by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for his basic price of INR 50 lakh.
The hitter scored 204 runs off 261 balls, including 26 boundaries and 3 sixes. He struck his ball with a strike rate of 78.16 percent. Tanay Thyagarajan expelled him. With Kolkata Knight Riders in 2022, he had a decent season, scoring 133 runs in seven games at an average of 19.0, with a top of 44.
Rahane has struggled with uneven play since 2021, which has kept him out of the national team for the majority of the year. Only two of his scores were in the fifties, with a best score of 67 for an individual. He has only participated in two Test matches this year, during which he has amassed 68 runs at an average of 17.00 and one half-century.
