While it was previously rumoured that actor Silambarasan TR will be working with filmmaker Desingh Periyasamy of “Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal” fame on his upcoming film, the creators have finally made the collaboration public. Raaj Kamal Film International, a production company run by Kamal Haasan, is making the movie with the working title “STR 48.” (RKFI).
“An alliance established to push boundaries of achievement & beyond generations! #STR48,” Kamal Haasan wrote in the project announcement.

Anirudh Ravichander is rumoured to be composing the score, and this will be the composer’s first collaboration with Silambarasan, although his identity hasn’t been made public yet.
The release of Silambarasan’s forthcoming movie, “Pathu Thala,” which was directed by Obeli N Krishna, is currently scheduled. Gautham Karthik and Priya Bhavani Shankar also play major parts in the movie, which is scheduled to hit theatres on March 30, 2023.
