Koogle Kuttappa is a science fiction comedy drama film directed by debutants Sabari and Saravanan. Produced by K.S. Ravikumar under the RK Celluloids banner and co-produced by Kallal Global Entertainment. The film stars K.S.Ravikumar, Tharshan, Poovaiyar, Losliya, G Marimuthu, R.Parthiban and Yogi Babu in lead roles. The music of the film was composed by Ghibran. Cinematography handled by Arvi. Editing was done by Praveen Antony. The film is a remake of the 2019 Malayalam film Android Kunjappan Version 5.25 written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval.
Sabari and Saravanan, Assistant Directors of K.S. Ravikumar wants to remake the 2019 Malayalam movie Android Kunjappan version 5.25. They also approached Ravikumar to act. But they could not get a producer for the film. Thus Ravikumar agreed to produce the film and bought the remake rights.
The two songs of the film were released and well received by the audience. The lyrics for the first single Bomma Bomma was written by Arivu and the lyrics for the second single Alai Alai was written by Madhan Karky. The film was originally titled Google Kuttappan and later renamed as Koogle Kuttappa. Koogle Kuttappa is scheduled to release on 6 May 2022.
