Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal movie review: Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s film is a rom-com with entertain edges

Directed by Vignesh Shivan, ‘Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal‘ released in theatres today, April 28. The movie features Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha in the lead roles. The main plot of the story focuses on the triangular love story between Rambo, Kanmani and Khatija.

Actor Vijay Sethupathi has been unfortunate since birth. In his life nothing will happen that he expects. For example his father dies when he was born and his mother becomes bedridden. In other words he is so unlucky that when it rains he goes out and the rain stops. Everything in his life is happening in direct contrast. He works as a car driver during the day and as a bouncer in pub at night.

He falls in love with Nayanthara while working as a driver. Falls in love with Samantha while working as a bouncer. At some point this love becomes a problem. How did Vijay Sethupathi finally deal with the love problem? With whom did Nayanthara and Samantha fall in love? Tells the rest of the story of the film.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi is playing the role of Rambo and is attracting the fans. He has also scored high in small gestures and facial expressions. Nayanthara has revealed her non-demonstrative performance as a family woman. Samantha is awkward pretending to be a modern woman. Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha are the three in the combination scenes. Maran and Kingsley are mixed up in comedy.

The film is directed by Vignesh Shivan and focuses on two romance stories. He has bought work efficiently between the characters. Vignesh Shivan keeps two lovers in love without any trouble. Comedy scenes are hand in hand.

The film was not a great introduction for Kala Master and Sreesanth. The performance of the two is not that much. Actor Prabhu is awkward expressing his experiential acting.

Composer Anirudh’s music is a big strength for the film. Excellent background music played by Anirudh as it was a 25th film for him. The songs are all wonderful. It is a feast for the eyes when viewed with Sridhar’s cinematography.
