Queen Elizabeth II of England passed away yesterday due to illness. Following this, world leaders including Prime Minister Modi are condoling the demise of Queen Elizabeth. In this case, poeter and lyricist Vairamuthu has condoled the death of Queen Elizabeth. He has posted a poem about this on his Twitter page.

அரசாண்ட முதல் அரசி
17 பிரதமர்கள் கண்ட
முதல் மகாராணி
ராஜ குடும்பத்தின்
முதல் பொறி நெறியாளர்
ராணுவப் பணி செய்த
முதல் அரண்மனைப் பெண்
அரசி எனில் தானே என
உலகை உணரவைத்த
முதல் ராணி
உங்களோடு கை குலுக்கியது
என் உள்ளங்கைப் பெருமை
உங்கள் புகழைக்
காலம் சுமந்து செல்லும்.”
