Maamanithan movie review:Vijay Sethupathi, Gayathrieshines in Seenu Ramasamy’s experiment film

Director Seenu Ramasamy has given a beautiful picture and lesson in one line that every man who tries to live as a man out of fear of conscience is a great man. Every family head has to work hard to save their family. It is every father’s dream to have their children live better than himself. The film is about how an incident in the life of a father with such a nightmare turns him into a great man. Director Seenu Ramasamy has brought the life of a man named Radhakrishnan without making any compromises in the commercial.

Vijay Sethupathi is an auto driver in Pannapuram village near Theni. Life goes on naturally as beautiful wife Gayathrie, dear son, daughter. Uneducated, he goes into the real estate business to make money as the next step in his desire for his children to study well. He too is betrayed in it and many of the people of the town are betrayed by him. Unable to repay the money, he flees the city. The rest of the story of the film is whether Vijay Sethupathi, who is so affectionate towards his family, saved or abandoned his family.

Vijay Sethupathi’s performance as Radhakrishnan as a loving husband and father is proportionate to the character. There can be no one who does not shed tears watching his performance in climax scenes. Gayathrie as the wife of Vijay Sethupathi. His natural sad face fits the character intact. She also disturbs us when we think of the husband who left them.

Guru Somasundaram as Vijay Sethupathi’s Muslim friend. Many here have friends like these who transgress religion. Similarly, when Vijay Sethupathi went to Kerala, Jewel Mary, a Christian woman who runs a tea shop there, befriends Vijay Sethupathi in brotherly affection. Director Seenu Ramasamy has stressed that there is a brotherhood in this soil that transcends religions such as Hinduism, Islam and Christianity.

Ilayaraja and Yuvanshankar Raja have composed music for the first time. Those who have melted in the background music, it seems as if they can still melt in the songs. Ilayaraja and Yuvan Shankar Raja were the first to co-star in the film. Sukumar Cinematography brings Theni and its surrounding villages to life as it is.
