Maayon review – An interesting treasure hunt

The manner in which director Kishore shot a treasure hunting film similar to the one in Hollywood films is astounding. Actor Sibiraj, Director K.S. Ravikumar, Radha Ravi, Tanya Ravichandran, Hareesh Peradi and Bagavathi Perumal have all done their job well.

K.S. Ravikumar is an archaeologist researching the ancient Krishna Temple at Mayon Hill. Under the leadership of Ravikumar, the hero Sibiraj, the heroine Tanya Ravichandran, the villain Hareesh Peradi and others is there. Sibi Raj and Harish Peradi were planning to steal the treasure of the temple? Did they steal? Tells the rest of the story of the film.

The low budget treasure hunting movie Maragatha Naanayam was released in Tamil and became a huge hit. Maayon is another treasure hunt movie that has been released in that order. Cinematographer Ram Prasad has shown his overall magic to be mesmerizing while showing the Mayon Hill and the ancient Krishna Temple in drone shots.

Sibiraj is choosing good stories and giving the best performance without giving up his attempt in his next films without seeing any success or failure. The director has given such a twist while showing Sibiraj to the villain range. Acting as a talented archaeologist, Sibiraj has done his job well.

Following the movie Nenjuku Needhi actress Tanya Ravichandran has also acted as the heroine in this movie. Director Kishore has written his character only for the sake of Sibi, but the heroine’s character has to be given prominence according to the story.

All the aspect of the treasure hunt movie is well in the picture. Director Kishore has carried the screenplay beautifully in the first half and second half as vividly as possible. The music of Ilayaraja, who did not give a big hand to Maamanithan, is divine in Maayon. And that Maayone Manivanna song is the pinnacle of song quality. The biggest downside to this film is its budget. If the film was shot on a good budget with a lot of CG scenes, it is sure to attract a large number of fans to the theaters. Kids will definitely be attracted to this maayon movie.
