Mohanlal & Jeethu Joseph’s Thriller ’12th Man’ To Premiere Directly On OTT

12th Man is a Malayalam language mystery thriller film directed by Jeethu Joseph. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor through Aashirvad Cinemas, with a screenplay by K. R. Krishna Kumar. The film features an ensemble cast led by Mohanlal, Unni Mukundan, Shivada, Anusree, Anu Sithara, Saiju Kurup, Rahul Madhav, Aditi Ravi, Priyanka Nair, Anu Mohan, and Chandhunadh. The original background score was composed by Anil Johnson. Cinematography by Satheesh Kurup. Editing was done by V.S.Vinayak.

Mohanlal starrer ‘Drishyam‘ and ‘Drishyam 2‘ directed by Jeethu Joseph have become huge hits and this is the third time the duo have teamed up for the film ”12th Man”. Filming for the film, which started with Pooja in August last year, was recently completed. The film is now scheduled to release in Disney+ Hotstar.

Previously, Mohanlal starrer films ‘Bro Daddy’, and ‘Drishyam 2’ were streamed directly via a popular OTT platform. Both the films got many positive responses from the audience.

12th Man comes with the tagline “Unveiling the shadows”, and as per the reports, the plot has an Agatha Christie-style that is based on twelve strangers who come across from different ways of life come together as the result of an invitation letter sent by an unnamed host. The reports also suggest that the story deals with the mystery that takes place around the lives of those twelve people within a span of 24 hours.

Actor Mohanlal has announced on his Twitter page that he will be joining Disney Plus Hotstar soon. But, the date has not been announced yet. It is said to be announced in May.
