Here is a list of some of the top Tamil songs of 2022.

In terms of music lovers, the year 2022 has been very rewarding. Here is a collection of songs that everyone found themselves singing and dancing to while watching the performers perform.

Arabic KuthuBeast

This upbeat song by Jonita Gandhi and Anirudh Ravichander was in Vijay’s Beast. It accomplished the exceptional accomplishment of becoming the most watched South Indian song within 24 hours with lyrics by Sivakarthikeyan.

Jolly O GymkhanaBeast

The catchy hook step in this groovy song, which was performed by Thalapathy Vijay himself, captured everyone’s attention.

Megham Karukatha – Thiruchitrambalam

This slow-paced dance routine from Dhanush’s Thiruchitrambalam, another song that became famous for its hook step, had practically everyone imitating the step and dancing like there was no tomorrow.

Mallipoo – Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

Silambarasan TR and Madhushree’s beautifully shot Mallipoo, with music by AR Rahman, provided some much-needed comic relief in the otherwise serious movie Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu.

Pathala PathalaVikram

A kuthu piece written and performed by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan needs to be distinctive, don’t you think? For Kamal lovers, this upbeat Vikram song was a visual treat.

Ponni NadhiPonniyin Selvan

Fans of the novel Ponniyin Selvan couldn’t have wished for a better song to transport them to the Chola Kingdom than this one, performed by AR Rahman, AR Reihana, and the late Bamba Bakya. They claimed that the song brought back the Rahman of the ’90s.

Dippam Dappam

Children also danced to the performance of this cheerful song by Anthony Daasan and Anirudh Ravichander from Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kadhal since it was so well-liked.

Chola Chola

Aditha Karikalan (Chiyaan Vikram) was shown on film dancing maniacally to a beautiful song commemorating the Cholas’ triumph. Sathyaprakash, VM Mahalingam, and Nakul Abhyankar sang the song, which had lyrics written by Ilango Krishnan.

Two Two Two

It appeared like everyone was dancing to this Kaathu Vaakula Kadhal song while Samantha, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi performed on TV. The song was sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, Sanjana Kalmanje, and Anirudh Ravichander.

Marakkuma Nenjam

This charming song from Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, performed by AR Rahman, perfectly encapsulated Muthu’s trip and became the perfect companion for solitary.
