My Dear Bootham is a movie made entirely for children. Director Ragavan has gone into their world and seen the things they enjoy. Prabhu Deva has done everything the director has told him to do without the slightest objection. He has taken a step down from his usual performance and performed well.
Prabhu Deva has given everything to the character, from shaving his head to showcase his acting. Ashwanth has played his role very well, what they have given to him in this film. Remya Nambeesan who plays Ashwanth’s mother has given a realistic performance.
Although the film is full of graphic scenes, it is undeniably good. Although there is nothing new in the story, the director has tried to add interest to the visuals and has succeeded to some extent. Tamil Nadu Chief Secretary V. Irai Anbu I.A.S. has acted in a special appearance in the film. Cinematography, background music, editing are all perfect for the film.
