Since the movie transcended national bounds to become a globally acclaimed blockbuster, the affection for SS Rajamouli’s RRR has grown even more intense.
Prior to this, the movie received praise from people like JJ Abrams, James Gunn, Edgar Wright, Joe Russo, and Scott Derickson. This praise was well-deserved given the Oscar push the movie received from DVV Entertainment.
Oscar winner Jessica Chastain is the most recent fan to add her voice to this long list, and she did it on Twitter.
Jessica Chastain stated, Taking to Twitter, Jessica wrote, “Watching this film was such a party 💖.” She reposted a video of the song “Naatu Naatu” from the movie.
RRR is not only receiving support from Western celebrities and spectators alike, but also winning several major accolades left, right, and centre. SS Rajamouli most recently won the New York Film Critics Circle’s Best Director prize.
RRR, which also features Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, was included in the Academy Awards shortlist for Best Song for Naatu Naatu.
In addition, the movie has been included to the longlist for the 2018 BAFTAs. It is also up for two Golden Globes awards: Best Non-English Film and Best Original Song.
