Prabhas first look in Project K Twitter reactions: Netizens are disappointed with the Baahubali star’s new avatar

Nag Ashwin is directing the sci-fi thriller produced by Vyjayanthi Movies

Director Nag Ashwin, known for his acclaimed films “Mahanati” and “Yevade Subrahmanyam,” is all set to release his much-anticipated sci-fi thriller, “Project K,” in 2024. The film boasts an ensemble cast, with some of the biggest stars from multiple industries, including Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. Produced by Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie has generated immense excitement among fans and audiences.

To build anticipation, the makers have been promoting “Project K” at Comic Con, USA, in the presence of lead actors Prabhas and Kamal Haasan, among others. While unveiling the first looks of the characters, starting with Deepika’s, and then Prabhas’, the response from online audiences has been mixed. Some fans expressed disappointment, stating that the expectations surrounding the film have been ruined. However, others remain confident in Nag Ashwin’s directorial abilities and are eager to see the final product on the big screen.

The movie is being compared to Hollywood superhero sagas, and some critics have found the initial look to be underwhelming, considering the high expectations. The first glimpse of the film is scheduled to arrive on July 21, which may provide a clearer perspective for the audience.

“Project K” is currently scheduled for release on January 12, 2024, but there are indications that it might be pushed to the summer. Before the release of this ambitious Rs 500 crore-budget film, Prabhas will be seen in “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel, which is set to hit theaters on September 28 this year. Prabhas also has other exciting projects in the pipeline, including a horror-comedy by Maruthi and “Spirit” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
