Prabhas showing intensity for the film Salaar

Salaar is an action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films, the film is shot simultaneously in Kannada and Telugu languages. It stars Prabhas as the titular character alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu. The music is composed by Ravi Basrur while Cinematography is handled by Bhuvan Gowda.

Both the parts of the film Bahubali and Bahubali 2 directed by Rajamouli were super hits for actor Prabhas. After that he starred in Saho, Radheshyam films which gave a shocking failure. At this stage, he has finished acting in the film “Adipurush” and is currently starring in the film Salaar. KGF film director Prashant Neel is directing the film Salaar.

While acting in this film, Prabhas also committed to act in Telugu films Project K directed by Nag Ashwin and a film by Maruthi. But Prabhas has completely turned his attention to making Salaar a mega hit, as the two films he has acted have failed in a row.

Currently the anticipation for the Salaar film has increased as the KGF-2 film has become a super hit. So Prabhas has decided not to act in any other films until he has finished acting in Salaar. He has temporarily postponed his film Project K directed by Nag Ashwin and one more film directed by Maruthi.

The film Salaar is planned to release in the second quarter of 2023 in Kannada and Telugu, in addition to dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi languages.
