Director Alphonse Puthren took to Twitter and announced that change in release date
Alphonse Puthren made his directorial debut in the Tamil and Malayalam film industry with the film “Neram”. After that he directed the film “Premam”. Premam which was released only in Malayalam in 2015, received a huge response from Tamil fans as well. Premam made Alphonse Puthren a big name in Malayalam and Tamil cinema industry. Almost 7 years after the success of the film, he directed the film “Gold”. Prithviraj is playing the lead role in this movie and Nayanthara is acting opposite him. Alphonse Puthren has completed the story, screenplay, animation and stunts of the film. A few days ago it was announced that the movie “Gold” will hit the theaters on 08 September 2022.
In this case, director Alphonse Puthren has said that the release date of the movie “Gold” is being postponed due to some reasons. Regarding this, he posted on his social media page, “Gold is releasing a week after Onam festival due to work delay on our side. Please forgive us for the delay.” Director Alphonse said that we hope to make up for this delay with our work when Gold releases.
