Vikram Veda, a Tamil film directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Madhavan, was well received by the fans. The film is currently being remade in Hindi. It has already been announced that Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Madhavan and Hrithik Roshan will play the role of Vijay Sethupathi.
Filming is currently set to begin. It has been confirmed that Radhika Apte will play the lead in the Vikram Veda Hindi remake. Radhika Apte plays Sratha Srinath in Tamil. Radhika Apte starred pair of Rajinikanth in the Tamil film Kabbali.
