Today is Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s big day.

This year’s Bollywood stars wedding took place today (14-04-2022). The haldi ceremony is done and the couples have tied the knot in the afternoon. The wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started on Wednesday. On Monday, the wedding halls RK Studios, Krishnaraj Bungalow and Vastu were decorated with lights and Sabyasachi costumes were also presented at the wedding venue.

Dates

The wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor started with the Mehndi ceremony on April 13. Alia Bhatt’s uncle Robin Bhatt had earlier announced that Alia and Ranbir will be getting married on April 14. Accordingly their marriage took place today. According to reports, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to host two grand wedding receptions for their friends on April 16 and 17 at the Taj Colaba.

Venues

The wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor was chosen as their official wedding venue at Ranbir Kapoor’s Bandra Vastu Home. All the pre-wedding performances, from Mehndi to Sangeet, were held at the RK Studio in Chembur, Mumbai. But the plans were changed that there was no sangeet function at their side. According to reports, Chrysanthemum and white button flowers were brought from Bangalore for their wedding. They went to Krishnaraj Kapoor Bungalow in Mumbai. All 3 places were decorated with lights.

Guest List

The wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor was attended personally, by family members and close friends. Only 28-30 guests attended the couple’s intimate wedding. Nearly 200 bouncers have been hired for the grand wedding to be held at Vastu, Ranbir Kapoor’s home in Bandra, Mumbai. The reception on the other hand will be full of stars. The guest list for their wedding reception has been released. One of the circles closest to the star couple is Shah Rukh Khan – co star of Alia’s Dear Zindagi, Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar-who introduced Alia in Bollywood. Ranbir’s best friend Ayan Mukherjee, who directed the couple in the film Brahmastra, has also been invited.

The star couple, who are said to be getting married had special arrangements to enter into an intimate wedding. The report says that wedding planners have provided special wristbands for everyone. “Only those wearing orange bands with special tags can access the wedding complex. No one else will be allowed inside the building or the Vastu Wedding Hall where the wedding will take place. The wedding venue was covered with curtains to avoid the presence of the Vastu paparazzi. This measure is designed to avoid security breaches and to ensure that photos and videos are not leaked.

Food menu

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s wedding menu shows how much the Kapoor Khandaan loves food. A source has revealed that there will around 50 counters of food consisting of different types of cuisines and some vegan food for Alia and her guest.

Kapoor Khandaan is a big foodie and this is no secret. There be more than 50 counters of lavish food right from Italian Mexican, Punjabi, and Afghani to everything. Neetu Kapoor has invited special chefs from Delhi and Lucknow for her son’s wedding.

The wedding is done

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will reportedly visit Siddhivinayak temple after their wedding ceremony. The couple will seek blessings from Lord Ganesha on the first day of their marriage.

Ranbir and Alia will pose for pictures after 7 pm today. Only one camera from each publication will be allowed, said the bride’s security-in-charge Yusuf Ibrahim.
