Sasikumar plays the protagonist in a new film, ‘Kaari‘, which is set in a rural setting with action and populist features.
The heroine is played by Parvathi Arun. She has acted in a few films in Malayalam including Sembaruthippoo and some of the films with Mohanlal’s son Pranav. She has also acted in Kannada and Telugu. The villain is played by the famous Bollywood actor Jedi chakravarthy. Apart from these, director Balaji Sakthivel, Aadukalam Narain, Redin Kingsley, Ammu Abrami, Nagi Needu, Prem, Big Boss fame Samyukta, Ramkumar, Theni Murugan and many more have been cast in the lead roles.
With the completion of the shooting of the film, the first look poster of the film has been released and it has been very well received by the fans. Director Vetrimaran released this first look poster. Directed by debutant director Hemant. The film is composed by D.Iman. Cinematography by Ganesh Chandra. Shiva Nandeswaran, who has worked in many films including Deeran Adhikaram Onru, is doing the editing. Post-production work for the film is in full swing.
