Mithali Raj is currently the Test and ODI captain of the women’s national cricket team. She led India to the final of the 2017 Women’s Cricket World Cup. Sabash Mithu is a film based on the life of Captain Mithali Raj.
The teaser of the movie Sabash Mithu was released today (21.03.2022). As captain of the Indian women’s team at the 2022 ICC Women’s World Cup, she successfully led the blue-clad women and set many world records.
The teaser is set to highlight the achievements of the blue team in which women participated in cricket. The film beautifully describes the ups and downs, setbacks and happy moments that Mithali Raj went through in her life. Tapsee plays the role of Mithali in the film.
Sabash Mithu’s film will bring Mithali’s glorious journey and her rise on the world stage to the screen. It has been filmed locally and internationally. Production Viacom18 Studios.
