The couple, who went public with their relationship in 2015, met while working together on the movie “Naanum Rowdy Thaan.” On social media, Vignesh Shivan has never been afraid to show his love for his wife. Vignesh Shivan shared a passport photo of Nayanthara on Instagram and commented that she looks good in any photo. The director described her as a glittering beauty and wrote, “Passport photo vil kooda palapalakum pandhooramey.”

It’s interesting to note that in the song he wrote for the movie song “Dippam Dappam” in “Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal,” he used the phrase “palapalakum pandhuramey.”

Recently, the couple was in the news because they were suspected of breaking the surrogacy laws. However, it is now evident that the couple complied with all rules and was given a clean bill of health by the state government. Twin boys were born to Vignesh Shivan and Nayanthara on October 9. The director revealed that they had chosen surrogacy, and according to reports the couple has given to the government, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have been legally married for six years.
