Director SJ Surya made his debut in Tamil cinema with Ajith starrer Vaalee. Next film Kushi, directed by S.J.Surya starring Vijay was also a huge success. Following that he has acted in many films including New, Anbe Aaruyire, Viyabari, Thirumagan, Iraivi, Mersal, Monster and Maanaadu.
He is currently playing the hero in Bommai and Kadamaiyai Sei and the villain’s role in Sivakarthikeyan’s Don.
Kadamaiyai Sei is a family drama film directed by Venkat Ragavan. Produced by T.R.Ramesh and Zahir Hussain. Released by Nahaar films and Ganesh Entertainment production company. Cinematography by Vinoth Rathnasamy. The film stars SJ.Surya and Yashika Aannand. Kadamaiyai Sei is currently gearing up for release after shooting. “Simbu Cine Arts” Simbu’s father T.Rajender currently owns the world theatrical distribution rights to the film. It has also been announced that the film will be released in May. It is noteworthy that Simbu has teamed up with SJ Surya again in this film after the Maanaadu film.
