Suriya Celebrates 25 Years in Tamil Film; A Look at the Star’s Best Work and Upcoming Movies

Suriya is happy to have worked in the Tamil film industry for 25 years. The actor worked extremely hard to become one of the biggest names in south Indian cinema. His first month’s pay was Rs 736, and today he is one of the industry’s most in-demand actors.

The actor thanked his supporters during a celebration of his 25 years in the film business on Tuesday, September 6.

“Truly a beautiful and blessed 25years…! Dream and believe…! Your Suriya,” the actor Tweeted.

Suriya started his career in 1997 with Nerrukku Ner, and through the years, the actor has in fact carved out a special place in the hearts of the audience with his signature style. Suriya’s performance in director Bala’s Nandha marked his breakthrough (2011). He also demonstrated his drive by portraying an ex-convict in the action movie.

Notably, Soorarai Pottru (2020) and Jai Bhim (2021) have helped Suriya enjoy a particularly prosperous time in his life. Both movies received acclaim when they debuted on Amazon Prime Video, taking advantage of OTT.

Etharkkum Thunindhavan, the actor’s performance this year, won over his fans. He then gained notoriety for his cameo in the Vikram movie, which also starred Kamal Haasan. He most recently appeared in R Madhavan’s Rocketry, which received favourable reviews from the general public.

Suriya is an actor who also produces and presents movies. In keeping with this, the actor will producing for the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, which stars Akshay Kumar.
