Suriya last delivered the emotional family drama ‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan‘, and the multi-language release performed well at the box office. Suriya received praise for his bold performance, while the director Pandiraj addressed a social issue through the film.
Surya starrer Resistance Edharkkum thunindhavan(ET), produced by Sun Pictures, was released in theaters on March 10, 2022. The film is now set to release its digital premiere on the Netflix and Sun Nxt OTT platforms. And the OTT release date of ET April 7, 2022 has been officially confirmed. Later, the actor released Jai Bhim on Amazon prime. The film gave him international-level recognition.
‘Etharkkum Thunindhavan’ features Suriya and Priyanka Mohan in main roles with Sathyaraj, Soori, Saran, Vinay, Saranya Ponvannan, and Ilavarasu in crucial roles. D Imman has scored the music, while the amazing visuals are captured by R Rathnavelu.
The actor is currently working on Vaadivaasal and tentatively titled Suriya 41 with directors Vetri Maaran and Bala, respectively. It is known that the actor is going to shoot simultaneously for both upcoming films.
