Speaking to a popular magazine about his role in The Gray Man, Dhanush said, “I’ve always loved playing the negative roles and it’s fun. Also, in the film, the directors have laid a great background story for the character of Avik San. The story tells how Avik San from a poor family becomes a brutal murderer. Despite being a brutal murderer, Avik San has some honest principles to his credit. He does not kill anyone without reason. As far as the character is concerned, he is a respectable man”. Actor Dhanush earned USD 5 lakh for the movie “The Gray Man”. Its Indian value is nearly Rs.4 crores. He has received less salary in Hollywood films.
