Dr. Saravanan, the world renowned scientist and his friend Robo Shankar died in his village due to diabetes. Arul Saravanan is trying to research and find a new medicine for diabetes so that no one else should die in our country. But how Legend Saravanan resisted the conspiracies of the drug mafia against it? Tells the story of the film The Legend.
Legend Saravanan, who runs a medical college in Pooncholai village, has done a lot of research as a scientist and has gained worldwide recognition. Suman, who played the villain opposite to his character, finds wrong medicines and makes people suffer. The directors JD-Jerry have told a great story about how legend Saravanan destroys this drug mafia gang. Bollywood heroine Urvashi Rautela who initially comes as a duck-herding girl, comes to Saravanan’s college as an M.Phil lecturer to take lessons. The romance scenes between Rautela and the legend Saravanan are on another level. Scenes of legend Saravana beating bad college students apart, then advising them to burn down Urvashi Rautela’s house, draw applause.
Harris Jayaraj’s background score, JD Jerry’s colorful making, Urvashi Rautela’s charisma, Yogi Babu’s comedy at some places and a good message are plus for the film. The Mosalo Mosalu song with Yashika Anand and the Vaadi Vaasal Vadi dance song with Rai Lakshmi are colorful too.
Since “The Legend” is Arul Saravanan’s first film, his speech and acting in many places are not in keeping with the film, which has become a weakness for the film. If the director had written the script with some twists instead of being predictable, The Legend would have been better. Although there is a star army like Nasser, Vijayakumar, Latha, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Robo Shankar, Devadarshini and Suman, the heroism is given too much importance. They have not given any scope to other actors, which is a hindrance. All in all, the hero fights to find medicine and save people.
