Thor: Love and Thunder film directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi. Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. It is the sequel to Thor: Ragnarok (2017) and the 29th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film stars Chris Hemsworth as Thor alongside with Christian Bale, Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, Waititi, Russell Crowe, and Natalie Portman. The film also marks Christian Bale’s MCU debut. Marvel Studios Thor: Love and Thunder was released in India on 07 July 2022 in six languages namely English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Earlier, it was announced that the film will release a day earlier in India, before its release in the United States. The Oscar winning Taika Waititi directorial opened to record great numbers in the box office collection. On Day 5 of its release, July 10, Thor: Love and Thunder recorded even better numbers. Trade experts have predicted that the film will collect 300 million dollars or 237 crore rupees worldwide.
It had collected over Rs. 24 crores at the worldwide box office on its first day of release. It is the fifth-biggest opening day for any Hollywood film in India. Within Five days of its release in India, it has crossed Rs. 50 crore in India. Trade experts predict that the film will cross $300 million worldwide.
