Ajith-starrer Thunivu Movie review and live updates for “Thunivu”: The most eagerly anticipated Tamil movie of the year is Thunivu, starring Ajith Kumar. The Thursday release of Vijay’s Varisu will provide it fierce competition.

Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu and Vijay’s Varisu will face off in what is regarded as one of the highlights of Tamil film in 2023 on Thursday. Despite Varisu and Thunivu’s Thursday release, industry insiders already foresee a box office battle this weekend between the two movies. It would be fascinating to watch how the two films perform at the box office because Ajith and Vijay are both A-list performers in their own way.

Ajith plays the part of a bank robber in the heist thriller Thunivu. He held a bank hostage and demanded a sizable money in the trailer. Ajith looks to be portraying a grey character in the movie, unlike his prior roles. Samuthirakani, John Kokken, and Manju Warrier are among the other cast members. Ghibran composed the score for the film.

Thunivu’s director, H Vinoth, had previously stated to indianexpress.com that the movie included “everything you would expect from a commercial film,” including music, humour, combat scenes, and more. Simply told, it is a game of the wicked. Vinoth and Ajith’s third joint project is titled Thunivu. The actor-director team previously collaborated on the films Valimai and Nekronda Paarvai.

In Tamil Nadu, Thunivu has a healthy amount of prior reservations. Excellent adv booking for both #Thunivu and #Varisu all throughout TN, tweeted film trade expert Ramesh Bala. He also said to Pinkvilla that the major box office competition between the two movies was “like Avengers and Avatar’s conflict in Hollywood and Salman Khan-Shah Rukh Khan’s rivalry in Bollywood.”
