The lyrics for the Tamil version of the song were written by Dhanush.
Dhanush’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vaathi/Sir is set to hit theatres on December 2. Meanwhile, GV Prakash, the composer, has announced that the first single will be released on November 10. The Tamil lyrics were written by Dhanush, while the Telugu lyrics were written by Ramajogaiah Sastry. Both versions of the song, which is expected to be a romantic number, have been sung by Shweta Mohan.
Dhanush plays a junior teacher named Balamurgan in Venkat Atluri’s Vaathi. In the film, he is paired with Samyuktha Menon. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani, Thotapalli Madhu, Aadukalam Naren, and Ilavarasu also appear. Sithara Entertainments is producing the film in collaboration with Fortune Four Cinemas.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is working on a number of other projects. He is currently working on Captain Miller, a period action drama directed by Arun Matheswaran. He also has a film with Sekhar Kammula and is expected to work again with Mari Selvaraj after Karnan. The actor was most recently seen in Selvaraghavan’s Naane Varuvean, directed by his brother.
