Varisu movie launch and review with Vijay Live UPDATES: Ajith’s Thunivu will present stiff challenge for Vijay’s movie Varisu. In Tamil Nadu, both movies will be released simultaneously.
Varisu, a movie starring Vijay, is scheduled to hit theatres on Wednesday. The movie, which also features Rashmika Mandanna, was made by Dil Raju and directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
Producer Dil Raju described the movie as a comprehensive family entertainer that will gratify Vijay’s admirers of all ages at the audio launch of the film. The movie clashes with Ajith’s Thunivu since they both have the same release date. When he said that Vijay was a larger star than Ajith, Dil Raju caused considerable debate among the two actors’ fan bases.
He stated, “In Tamil Nadu, Ajith sir’s film is coming out alongside my film, in an interview with a Telugu station. Vijay Sir is the top star in Tamil Nadu. Everyone is aware of that. I implore them to provide me more than 400 displays despite the fact that the state has over 800 screens. I want at least fifty additional displays. This is work-related. I have to beg for screens even if I have a huge movie. No monopoly exists, right?
After Vijay’s Jilla and Ajith’s Veeram clashed in 2014, there has been tension between the two actors’ fan bases ever since. The fan conflict initially surfaced in 2001 when Vijay’s Friends and Ajith’s Dheena battled at the box office.
Ramesh Bala, a trade expert, told Pinkvilla that it was similar to the box office brawl between Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in Bollywood and the conflict between the Avengers and Avatar in Hollywood. The allocation of screens between the two stars has been a topic of discussion, he continued, noting that Tamil Nadu has about 1000 movie theatres.
