Virata Parvam is a Telugu language action drama film written and directed by Venu Udugula. Produced by D. Suresh Babu and Sudhakar Cherukuri under the banner of Suresh Productions and SLV Cinemas. The film stars Sai Pallavi and Rana Daggubati in lead roles. While Priyamani, Nandita Das, Naveen Chandra, Zarina Wahab, Easwari Rao, and Sai Chand play supporting roles. The story revolves around Naxalite movement that took place in Telangana region in the 1990s. Cinematography handled by Dani Sanchez Lopez, Divakar Mani. Editing was done by A. Sreekar Prasad.
The film’s background score is composed by Suresh Bobbili who worked with Udugula in Needi Naadi Oke Katha. The trailer of the film “Virata Parvam” has been released. Sai Pallavi plays the role of Vennela. Rana Daggubati plays the role of Ravanna, the leader of naxals. The film is set to release in theatres on 17 June 2022. The post theatrical streaming rights of the film is acquired by Netflix.
